I love mine.

Not one problem in 16 months. Worth the money if durability is more important than gaming. I also love the carrying handle.
UPDATE: December 22, 2009.
I have owned this since May 30, 2008. Still no problems. The battery life when new was 4 hours (no kidding), then went to 3 hours after about 3 months, stayed there for about a year. Battery life then slipped to 2.5 hours in October 09, and is currently at 2.0 hours as of Dec, 2009 18 months after purchase. This is a genuine Panasonic Battery Pack NOT the cheap aftermarket stuff they sell on ebay.
If you are going to invest the money in this semi-rugged unit favored by first responders (look at what the cops use)then DO get the Lojak for Laptops option installed.
Another reviewer said "nothing tough about it" without any supporting statement. Negative reviews without supporting info should be taken with a grain of salt. Though I have never had to use customer service yet, my sister said (she is an IT professional) "Panasonic's customer service is awesome compared to the rest."
My warranty is three years standard out of the gate. While not as tough as the fully rugged line, it is tougher than most run of the mill laptops. |
